Beware of most EFT Practitioners in Perth!
Would you entrust your Mental and Emotional Health with someone who has done a few weekend workshops in EFT and has no Counselling or Psychological training at all? If you visit most of Perth’s EFT Practitioners that is exactly what they have done. Even worse, some have only studied EFT via online courses. Please be very careful when choosing an EFT Practitioner to deal with your emotional issues. Having learned only one or two healing modalities is not enough to be able to safely deal with the variety of mental and emotional issues most clients come to Counselling for. It’s like telling people you are a handyman, but you only bring a hammer to do the job. It won’t be adequate to do most jobs. The same is true of most EFT practitioners in Perth. What is the Emotional Freedom Technique?
The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a powerful healing modality which has been proven to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of negative memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress.
The Emotional Freedom Technique uses elements of Western psychology techniques such as Cognitive Therapy and Exposure Therapy, and combines them with the Eastern Healing technique of Acupressure.
